Recreating Tampa On Team Obama

Ummm, I still don’t have health insurance, and I don’t really understand how the financial reform bill is helping me. I do know that Guantanamo is still open, DADT is still in place, our occupation of Afghanistan continues, Osama still roams free, your DOJ supports warrantless wiretapping, unemployment is a lot worse than you predicted for a lot longer, but you’re sticking to the same economic team, you don’t make recess appointments, and your staff has said that I’m either on drugs or retarded because I don’t appreciate your accomplishments. Why are you mocking those of us who worked so hard to get you into office? Do you really think that makes me want to keep working hard for Team Obama?

Morgan Freeman Is Suing Saint Petersblog

"The bottom line I am not taking down the post, in fact, I stand by its content and message now more so than ever.".....Peter Schorsch

The Stogie use to really like Mr. Freeman. But lately i don't know. First he gets a divorce from a woman he has been married to for 26 years to marry his 27-year-old step-granddaughter. The 73 year old oscar-winner has vowed to make a "decent" woman out of his step-granddaughter and father her children. Gross!
And now he is picking on a blogger.

Florida's Merry Band Of Thieves

Should Alex Sink, Charlie Crist and Bill McCollum Be Under Criminal Investigation?
Three years ago, Florida made bad investments that lost hundreds of millions in value. State leaders blamed the sharks of Wall Street, who they said duped Florida money managers into buying way-too-risky securities.
The St. Petersburg Times has obtained e-mails and internal memos that document a story at odds with the one told by Crist, Sink and McCollum. The records show the state was anything but an innocent dupe;

it was an eager partner.

David Cobb Rallies Tampa Crowd

You’re All Freaks
They could have been anywhere, doing anything, on such a beautiful afternoon. But there they were, a hearty group gathered for hours in the John F. Germany library auditorium. They stayed in that cavernous room, listening to David Cobb speak, so long they nearly risked being locked in.

Kelly Benjamin: An Open Letter To Tampa

Why I’m Running
I’m coming at this race from an activist’s perspective because I care deeply about this city and what goes on around here. I want to be a voice on the council that helps residents guide this city in a new direction, to help transition away from some of the backwards ideas of the past towards a more sustainable city for the future. I want to help build a place that we can all love to call home. I need your help to do it.

St. Pete House Rep. Darryl Rouson
Rep. Rouson had an admitted drug problem years ago, but that hasn’t stopped his zeal to stop others who can maintain. On the contrary, it’s turned him into a one-man anti-bong squad. This year the legislator sponsored a state law that makes it a crime to sell water pipes at most head shops.
